| This event, which is free and open to the public, will feature the stories of cancer survivors Ruth Bachman and Andy Fleming. They will read from creative nonfiction narratives inspired by a recent trek through the High Himalaya with Above + Beyond Cancer, a public charity with a mission to reduce the burden of cancer across the globe. The event is sponsored by the Comparison Project at Drake University, an experimental effort in a philosophy of religion that is historically grounded and religiously diverse. |
