Philanthropy group 100+ Chicks for Charity will hold its first meeting of 2013 at Dos Rios Cantina and Tequila Lounge on April 18 at 5:30 p.m. The group holds a meeting each quarter to hear presentations from members, followed by a vote to determine which member's charity will be the beneficiary of the dollars raised.  More than 100 women contribute $50 or more to the selected charities. Last year the charities selected were: Camp Hertko Hollow, the Iowa chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Children and Families Urban Ministries' Whyld Girls program.
