Misty Soldwisch, an Indianola-based residential real estate broker, will lead Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate expansion into Iowa with offices in Indianola and West Des Moines, according to a release. Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate is a subsidiary of Realogy Holdings Corp., which also owns Coldwell Banker residential and commercial real estate brokerages, and Century 21. The company uses the Better Homes and Gardens brand under a licensing agreement with Meredith Corp. The Iowa brokerage will serve Polk, Dallas, Warren and Madison counties with a diverse suite of real estate services in suburban, urban and acreage sales. Soldwisch will operate the company as Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Innovations. For the last 10 years, she has owned the Re/Max Innovations brokerage, which was recently recognized by the Des Moines Area Association of Realtors as a top 10 firm for number of transactions year-to-date.
