Iowa State University has been ranked as the fifth-best university in the country to work at, according to rankings released today by Glassdoor, a jobs and career community website.
Iowa State had a rating of 4.3 out of 5. The report is based on employee feedback shared on Glassdoor's site over the past year.
ISU President Steven Leath received a 100 percent approval ranking, based on employee reviews. The rankings took into account between 10 and 19 reviews for Leath, Glassdoor said.
An anonymous employee told Glassdoor that at Iowa State, "you can meet dedicated students, scientists from all over the world. ISU provides lots of opportunities to train your leadership and corporate skills."
The University of Iowa had an employer rating of 4.1, which put it just outside of the top 25.
The top four in the rankings were Texas Tech University, Carnegie Mellon University, Brigham Young University and the University of Texas at Austin.
