The Greater Des Moines Partnership, in conjunction with the Iowa Chamber Alliance, the Iowa Association of Business and Industry and the Iowa Business Council, will hold the second annual Business Summit for Education Excellence on Jan. 16. The event will feature a number of speakers and panelists, including Brad Buck, director of the Iowa Department of Education, and Rob Denson, president of Des Moines Area Community College. The summit's purpose is to create a united business voice from across Iowa and help businesses take a leadership role in advocating for education reform.
