Delta Dental of Iowa announced Friday that its board of directors has selected Jeff Russell as the organization’s new president and CEO, effective May 3. Russell succeeds Donn Hutchins, who will retire after a 35-year career, including 13 years as president and CEO of Delta Dental of Iowa.
“Delta Dental will benefit tremendously from Jeff's experience and leadership style as he continues the company’s growth and commitment to the oral health of Iowans going forward,” retiring president and CEO Donn Hutchins said in a release. “I look forward to working closely with him to ensure a smooth and efficient transition.”
Russell is currently president and CEO of TMG Financial Services, which he founded in 2007. He previously served as chief strategy officer of Affiliates Management Co., as well as having held various senior management positions for The Members Group.
He holds a bachelor of arts degree from Drake University and has completed graduate work at the University of Iowa and Harvard Business School.
