Students in eighth through 10th
grades can now enter the seventh annual Money Smart Kid essay contest and
compete for the chance to win $1,000 to help boost their college savings. The
statewide essay contest is co-sponsored by the Iowa Bankers Association and
Iowa Credit Union Foundation. The student with the winning essay will be
selected as Iowa's Money Smart Kid for 2013 and receive $1,000 toward college
savings funded jointly by the Iowa Bankers Association and the Iowa Credit
