• Females make up just 16 percent of the boards of directors at the 11 largest companies in Iowa.
• Iowa is one of only two states that has never elected a female to Governor or U.S. Congress.

The brutal truth:
Iowa is one of the worst states to be businesswoman. But why? Our panel of experts will be start the process of answering that question and begin the search for solutions to not only Iowa’s gender gap problem but also the nation’s by addressing questions such as:
