The Des Moines Downtown Chamber of Commerce yesterday announced its 2012 business, citizen and ambassador of the year.

Meidh, an operation analysis startup firm, was recognized as Business of the Year. Tony Timm, executive director of Central Iowa Shelter & Services, is Citizen of the Year. Leslie Jasper, group sales manager for Des Moines Performing Arts, is the Ambassador of the Year.
