Employers expect to hire about 9 percent more new graduates out of college this year, according to a survey by the National Association of Colleges and Employers. In Iowa, Mike Gaul, director of Iowa State University's College of Agricultural and Life Sciences, said graduates seeking careers in agriculture are having the best luck finding work. Gaul told Radio Iowa that 98 percent of graduates from the ISU College of Ag and Life Sciences are placed in jobs in their field within six months of graduation.
