The Iowa Association for Energy Efficiency has established a scholarship program to assist Iowa students in pursuing an education related to energy efficiency. The $1,000 scholarships, two of which will be awarded this year, were created to “help ensure the continued success and development of future energy efficiency professionals in Iowa,” the association said in a release. Michael Seymour, a student at Iowa State University, and Kimberly Wilderdyke, a University of Northern Iowa student, will be recognized as the first recipients during the 30th annual Iowa Energy Summit on Oct. 3-4 at the Meadows Events and Conference Center in Altoona.
