Deanna Strable, an executive with Principal Financial Group Inc., has been elected to the board of directors of LL Global Inc., the not-for-profit parent of insurance and financial services organizations LIMRA and LOMA.

Strable, senior vice president for Principal's U.S. Insurance Solutions business, was among eight insurance executives named to three-year terms on the board.

Another Principal executive, Nora Everett, president and CEO of Principal Funds, was recently elected to the board of directors of the Investment Company Institute, a national association of investment companies.

Everett, one of seven new members on the institute's board, will serve a three-year term.
