Principal
Financial Group Inc. has promoted Ralph Eucher to executive vice president,
effective March 9. Eucher, who joined the company in 1994, will continue in his
role leading human resources and the development of the company's global talent
platform. He also is responsible for oversight of corporate real estate and
will continue to lead the major campus renovations currently under way. Eucher
was named president and CEO of Principal Funds in 1999, senior vice president
in 2002, and began overseeing human resources and corporate real estate in
2008. Prior to joining Principal, Eucher was president for General Growth
Properties Inc.
