Iowa State University will showcase research about technology in the classroom at the American Educational Research Association's annual meeting starting this weekend in San Francisco. Amy Carter Hutchison, an assistant professor in the ISU School of Education, will present her research about preschoolers using iPads as an early literacy learning tool. Her research shows that using an iPad is very intuitive for children, but should only be used if the technology is helping teachers reach their goal. Hutchison will be one of 37 researchers from the university to attend. To read more about the research, click here.
