Middle school students throughout Iowa will get a fun but educational lesson in money management delivered through live theater performances this semester. The 40-minute educational program, "Mad About Money II" is sponsored by the Iowa Insurance Division and will be presented in 33 counties, including Polk and Warren counties. Produced by The National Theatre for Children, the free program consists of four humorous skits performed by two professional improvisational actors. "Using humor to illustrate a particular point about money management is really powerful with this age group," said Craig Goettsch of the Iowa Insurance Division. "It's never too soon to begin good money habits, and we want to expose these ideas to as many Iowa students as possible."
