Sen. Tom Harkin will share his strategies to reduce the cost of care, improve the quality of health outcomes and strengthen the health-care work force during a public forum to be held Oct. 29 at Des Moines University (DMU). 

Hosted by the Partnership for Better Health and DMU, the forum is the final installment of a four-part "A Healthy Discussion" series that began in August. The free event begins at noon in Lecture Hall 1 of the DMU Academic Center, 3440 Grand Ave.
