Officials for the Healthiest State Initiative will give a progress update on Sept. 18.
Officials will release specific details on Iowa's 2011 Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index results and provide an update on the state's Blue Zones projects.
The initiative's goal is to make Iowa the healthiest state in the nation by 2016.
