Iowa Health Cardiology will
open a new cardiology clinic at Iowa Methodist Medical Center on April 1. The
clinic, to be headed by Dr. Craig Stark, will be located in the former location
of the Iowa Heart Center Clinic, which closed its clinic on the Iowa Methodist
campus in late February. Cardiology services at the new clinic will include
diagnostic imaging, clinical cardiology, medication management and heart rhythm
intervention. Stark, who recently joined Iowa Health Cardiology, is
board-certified in general, interventional and nuclear cardiology and echocardiography.
He had been in practice with Iowa Heart Center since 1995, and prior to that,
spent six years in private practice.
