Des Moines Register: Chants of "Kill the bill!" and "Vote them out!" echoed off the marble walls of the Iowa Capitol Monday night as hundreds of protesters flooded the building's rotunda in a show of opposition to legislation restricting collective bargaining rights for 184,000 public-sector union workers. Down the hall, legislators hosted a public forum where dozens of Iowans spoke on the proposal and hundreds of others were turned away as the forum hit its two-hour time limit.
