Mosiman starts work as new state auditor

Mary Mosiman went to work today as Iowa's state auditor, succeeding David Vaudt, who resigned effective May 3 to take a job as chairman of the Governmental Accounting Standards Board. She had served as deputy secretary of state under Matt Schultz. Mosiman served as the Story County auditor and commissioner of elections from 2001-2010. She is a graduate of Iowa State University with a degree in accounting.
