Johnston-based Moss Enterprises, an education technology supplier, announced it has partnered with EnvisionTEC, a leading manufacturer of 3-D printers for medical and dental applications. The new partnership will broaden Moss' offering of 3-D printers in the Upper Midwest, the company said in a release. EnvisionTEC, a German company with U.S. headquarters in Dearborn, Mich., has partnerships with major manufacturers and supplies 3-D printers to Ford Motor Co., Glidewell Manufacturing, Procter & Gamble and other leading manufacturers. The company also developed a line of 3-D printers for education. Moss, a 40-year-old Iowa company, moved its headquarters last year from Hiawatha to Johnston. It serves all three major public universities in Iowa, as well as educators and manufacturers around the Midwest.
