    The developers of Chicago’s Elysian Hotel, a luxury property in the city’s Gold Coast that was renamed the Waldorf Astoria after its purchase by billionaire investor Sam Zell, have bought the 104-year-old Midland Building in downtown Des Moines for $2.6 million.
