Foreclosure rates in Greater Des Moines decreased in June over the same period last year, according to real estate analytics firm CoreLogic Inc. The rate of foreclosures among outstanding mortgage loans was 2.01 percent in June, down 0.48 percentage points from a year ago. The Greater Des Moines rate was lower than the national foreclosure rate, which was 2.49 percent in June. The mortgage delinquency rate, the number of loans that are 90 or more days overdue, dropped to 3.85 percent from 4.51 percent a year ago, CoreLogic said.
