The city of Windsor Heights can provide its staff a little more room to breathe after the purchase of space in a former doctor's office at 1145 66th St., just north of City Hall. City Administrator Jeff Fiegenschuh said the building provides a little more than 2,000 square feet of office space, compared with a cramped 900 square feet where Fiegenschuh and crew currently work at City Hall, 1133 66th St. Plans are to complete the move by Oct. 1. City Council chambers will remain at City Hall, and the remainder of the building will be turned over to the public safety department. Windsor Heights purchased one suite in its new building for $220,000 from Dr. Michael Mintzer.
