Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal: Hy-Vee Inc. is breaking into the Twin Cities market, the grocery chain announced Monday. The West Des Moines-based supermarket chain is planning several stores in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area, and will focus on the region in the coming years. Each store will be approximately 90,000 square feet, with an initial investment of roughly $14 million to $16 million. The first Twin Cities store will likely be in New Hope, where Hy-Vee will present its plans to the City Council Monday night.
