Entrepreneurs Josh Nelson, Kevin Robinson and Wade Steenhoek announced that their certified information destruction business, Info Dog Security, will fund 5-5-5, a scholarship for Iowa high school students who attend a weeklong business immersion program. The program, called Business Horizons, is run by the Iowa Association of Business and Industry Foundation. For the next five years, 5 percent of Info Dog Security revenue earned through business with fellow ABI members will go toward five scholarships to the Business Horizons program. Targeted donations will be $5,000 per year for the program, which will be held July 20-24 in Pella. Business Horizon nomination and application forms are available on the Business Horizons website.
