Kum & Go LC, a chain of about 430 convenience stores, plans to leave its West Des Moines headquarters and build a new headquarters downtown, company CEO Kyle Krause told DesMoinesRegister.com. The new building would be between the John and Mary Pappajohn Sculpture Park and Iowa Methodist Medical Center, and Krause said he hopes to have about 300 employees move into the new building by late 2016 or early 2017.
