Over the age of 50 and ready to start a business?

The U.S. Small Business Administration and AARP are hosting National Encore Entrepreneur Mentor Month, which targets entrepreneurs over the age of 50. As part of the event, the SBA and AARP are sponsoring the Small Business Mentoring Resource Fair on April 18 from 7:30 - 9:30 a.m. at the AARP offices, 600 E. Court Ave.
AARP and SBA representatives will be joined by mentors from the Small Business Development Center, SCORE and ISED Women's Business Center, and Des Moines Area Community College Business Resources Group to provide counseling and technical assistance to help entrepreneurs start or grow their business.
