Three Central Iowa business leaders have been inducted into the 2013 class of the Iowa Business Hall of Fame.
The inductees are Larry Zimpleman, chairman, president and CEO of Principal Financial Group Inc., Steve Lacy, chairman and CEO of Meredith Corp., and Terry Buzbee, vice president of final control for Emerson Process Management, which owns Fisher Controls in Marshalltown. The inductees will be honored during the Greater Des Moines Committee's annual Black Tie Dinner to be held at The Meadows Events & Conference Center, 1 Prairie Meadows Drive, Altoona, on Dec. 5.
The Iowa Business Hall of Fame was founded by the Greater Des Moines Committee in 1975 to honor the achievements of Iowans who have contributed to the development and enhancement of the state's business climate. See a full list of the more than 90 Hall of Fame members online.
