West Des Moines-based Icon
Laboratories Inc. announced Thursday that it has released a new
firewall appliance called the Floodgate Defender.
The appliance is designed to
protect devices that are part of the "Internet of Things" --
including military equipment, critical infrastructure controllers and medical
devices, from security attacks.
Icon Labs in 2011 was nationally
recognized for another firewall product.
