The Iowa Economic Development
Authority (IEDA) board has awarded financial assistance to nine companies for
job creation and expansion projects that could lead to the creation of 318 jobs
and more than $212 million in new capital investment for the state, according
to a news release. The board also approved assistance for six innovation
startup projects. The board approved assistance for projects in Ames, Le Mars,
Peosta, Charles City, Eddyville, Williamsburg, Grinnell, Cedar Rapids,
Davenport, Butler County, Carroll, Iowa City and Rockwell City.
