Iowa Medical Society has announced the installation of Dr. Lillian Erdahl of Iowa City, as its president, leading the organization’s 2026–27 board of directors. Erdahl was inaugurated during the group’s President’s Dinner on April 17 in Iowa City. Additionally, the organization elected new board members, who were installed during a board reorganization meeting. The board of directors sets the organization’s strategic direction and policy priorities, aiming to advocate for physicians and advance initiatives that improve health care access and outcomes for Iowans.
