32 graduate from leadership institute’s Community Connect program
The Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute recently announced the graduation of 32 participants from the Community Connect program. The program connects individuals with experienced community leaders and a curriculum that encourages discovery of individual purpose and values and goal-setting for community involvement. The five-session program started in February and included classroom and small group learning. “The 32 Community Connect graduates are ready to make a difference in Central Iowa,” said Amy Jennings, Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute executive director.
