The American Heart Association Workplace Health Solutions will present the Iowa Workplace Health Symposium on Thursday, Dec. 10. The event, which begins at 11 a.m., will be held virtually and is free of charge. Dr. Richard Deming, medical director of MercyOne Cancer Center, will present the keynote speech, “Above and Beyond.” A variety of health-related presentations are also on the agenda, along with the presentation of the Iowa Workplace Health Solutions Awards to two companies: Grinnell Mutual Reinsurance and Meredith Corp., for their commitment to helping their employees improve their health and well-being.
