The Iowa Association of Business and Industry has named 40 members to its latest Leadership Iowa class. Sessions will help the class learn about issues in the state over eight months. The program incorporates subject-matter experts, interactive experiences and industry tours. The class will visit Perry, Iowa Falls, Fort Dodge, Des Moines, Muscatine, Glenwood, Council Bluffs and Waverly. Their year will culminate with the ABI Annual Conference in Cedar Rapids. Topics will include agriculture, renewable resources, education, government, manufacturing, community vitality, economic development and health care. Opening sessions are Oct. 2-4.
