The city of Johnson is closing all offices, including Public Works, City Hall and Crown Point Community Center from March 18 to April 12. The city of Des Moines closed public access to its City Hall, Armory, Municipal Service Center, Public Works and the office location for the Civil & Human Rights Department from March 18 to April 12. Facebook is launching a new Small Business Grant Program to provide $100 million in grants to more than 30,000 business owners in local communities, including Altoona, where the social media corporation has a data center campus. Facebook will begin taking applications in the next few weeks and will announce more details about the program in Altoona next week. More information about the grant program is available online.
