A groundbreaking ceremony for a new warehouse project on the south edge of Bondurant has been delayed. The ceremony was scheduled for Monday, Oct. 19, but according to officials with the city of Bondurant, a scheduling issue with some of those who were to attend caused the ceremony to be delayed. A new date hasn’t been scheduled. The $55 million project, called Project Omega, sits on 72 acres of land on Southwest Shiloh Rose Parkway, just west of Northeast Hubbell Avenue. According to city documents, completion of the 278,000-square-foot warehouse is scheduled for Aug. 1, 2021. Neither the developer nor officials with the city would comment on what company will operate the warehouse once it’s complete.
