Casey Decker has been named Hy-Vee Inc.’s chief information officer, the company announced. Decker will lead the company’s IT strategy, including overseeing all of its information systems and staff, and lead the company’s technology operations. He will also lead all innovations and initiatives for the retailer’s online and digital channels. Decker previously was chief information officer at FBL Financial Group Inc. He has a bachelor’s degree from Drake University and master’s degree in management of information systems from DePaul University. He currently is pursuing a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Iowa. Decker takes over the chief information officer position from Matt Ludwig, who now oversees Hy-Vee’s supply chain as chief supply chain officer and executive vice president.
