The Iowa Association of Business and Industry has elected David Bywater of Bankers Advertising/Tru Art in Iowa City as chairman. Bywater’s great-great-grandfather, Samuel Wakefield Mercer, served as ABI’s chairman in 1907 and his father, Bill Bywater, held the post in 1995. Also elected were: 
•Vice Chairman John Krogman of Connect-A-Dock, Atlantic.
•Treasurer Steven Bradford of HNI Corp., Muscatine.
David Zrostlik of Stellar Industries in Garner became immediate past chair. New members of the executive committee include J.D. Davis of MidAmerican Energy Co., Brent Kjellberg of Pella Corp. in Carroll, and Jack McFarland of Miller Products Co. in Osceola.
