Helen Aboah has been named president and chief operating officer at Krause Group, beginning Dec. 1, the company announced Friday.

She will serve as the senior executive responsible for driving strategic growth, operational performance and organizational alignment. In her new role, Aboah will focus on accelerating decisions, improving execution and positioning the company and its brands for long-term growth, according to a news release.

Aboah joins Krause Group from Atelier Jolie, Angelina Jolie’s luxury lifestyle group where she served as COO and president. Previously, she served in leadership roles at Urban Zen, Alexander Wang and LVMH/Donna Karan International.

The president and COO position is new to Krause Group, which, along with a new chief administrative officer position, will streamline the direct reporting process within the company, helping it to move more quickly on capital deployment and projects, a spokesperson said.

Aboah is a graduate of Columbia University and is recognized for her operational expertise, creative leadership and people-oriented approach, the release said.

The release said she also sits on several boards focused on youth empowerment, education and climate innovation.

Kyle Krause, Krause Group’s founder and CEO, said Aboah will help the company successfully create growth that has lasting impact.
