ADM partners with Feeding America to support local food banks

142 wordsAll Latest News, Iowa Stops HungerADM announced a $350,000 contribution through its ADM Cares corporate social investment program to Feeding America, the largest U.S. hunger-relief network, to help fund local food distribution units in six states. The grant will support multiple regional food banks and distribution centers, including organizations in Iowa, Illinois, Nebraska, Missouri, Georgia, and Louisiana, as part of efforts to provide meals to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity. Feeding America, which operates a nationwide network of more than 200 member food banks and related programs serving every U.S. county and tens of millions of people annually, will use the funds to help ensure local partners have resources for food access and related services. ADM Cares focuses its giving on strengthening communities where the company operates by directing funding, volunteer efforts, and industry expertise toward initiatives that advance social, economic and environmental progress.
