Miriam Erickson Brown, CEO and President of Anderson Erickson Dairy Company in Des Moines, was recently awarded the International Dairy Food Association’s 2007 Soaring Eagle Award at a special ceremony during the 2007 Dairy Forum.

The award recognizes the extraordinary service of individuals who have chaired IDFA, the International Ice Cream Association, the Milk Industry Foundation or the National Cheese Institute.

Erickson Brown has been an active participant of IDFA, serving from 2004-2006 and chairing the organization from 2004-2005. Erickson Brown was also the first female to chair the Milk Industry Foundation.
