Des Moines-based Alliance Technologies has announced the acquisition of the network management services portion of ANE Technology Services from Perimeter eSecurity.

ANE, located in Johnston, specializes in outsourcing information technology services to small and mid-sized businesses, with expertise in serving community banks. The acquisition is the second for Alliance Technologies in less than a year.     “Since network management services are a key aspect of our overall business, we have continued to seek opportunities to build on this strength,” said Mike Lang, president of Alliance Technologies. “ANE is an excellent fit and enables us to expand this core competency, especially within the banking industry.”

ANE began as a local company in 1998 and was acquired by a Connecticut-based Perimeter eSecurity in 2006. Perimeter provides information security products and services designed specifically for the banking sector, as well as network management and related information technology support services for businesses within other industries.

Alliance will retain two employees from ANE, relocating them to its Capital Square office in downtown Des Moines.
