Anderson named deputy city manager for Des Moines

Anderson joined the city as an assistant city manager in 2012. He also had worked for the city as an economic development administrator from May 2002 to August 2010. “I have every confidence in Matt running the day-to-day operations of the city and leading broader policy efforts,” City Manager Scott Sanders said in a release.
