The city of Ankeny is now accepting applications for various boards and commissions, including Board of Examiners and Appeals, Economic Development Council, Plan and Zoning Commission and Zoning Board of Adjustment. Most terms will begin in the first quarter of 2017. Information regarding the various boards and commission and an online application are available on the city website or by contacting the city clerk’s office at 515-965-6405. Though the city accepts applications year-round, a deadline of Dec. 16 is imposed for consideration of 2017 appointments. All applications will remain on file for one year for future consideration.
