Appeals Court will hear cases in Okoboji for Lawyers’ Chautauqua
The Iowa Court of Appeals will hear arguments in two cases as part of the 89th annual Lawyers’ Chautauqua at the Arrowwood Resort and Conference Center in Okoboji. Judges will consider a case involving a Floyd County drainage district and a Black Hawk County medical malpractice action. The Lawyers’ Chautauqua is continuing legal education event sponsored by Judicial District 3A and hosted this year by the Emmet and Palo Alto county bar associations. The oral arguments are open to the public.
