Applications for the Greater Des Moines Partnership Youth Leadership Initiative Class of 2016-2017 are now available. YLI provides next year’s sophomore or junior students from both public and private high schools from across Central Iowa with experiential mentoring and leadership opportunities that enhance self-esteem and encourage involvement in all levels of community life. Participation in the YLI program is tuition-free. Students meet twice monthly between August and May to explore topics on leadership while learning about the Greater Des Moines Region. Applications will be accepted until noon on April 15 and can be accessed here.
