Arts festival showcases student works
The Des Moines Arts Festival will feature the work of 22 up-and-coming student artists through the Emerging Iowa Artists (EIA) Program presented by Principal Financial Group Inc. June 22-24 in Western Gateway Park.
The EIA Program showcases the talents of Iowa residents currently enrolled in or recently graduated from universities, colleges and art schools across the country. An on-site awards jury will honor one emerging artist with $1,000 and the title of Best Student Artist for 2012.
