Bank Iowa Corp. names new president

Jim Plagge will be Bank Iowa Corp.’s new president and CEO. Plagge is replacing Stan Honken, who will continue to serve on the bank’s board of directors following his retirement on July 1.

With more than 30 years of financial services industry experience, Plagge spent 26 years at Northwestern Bank, where he has served as president since 1992. Plagge graduated from Iowa State University in 1982 with a bachelor’s degree in ag business. He also completed the Graduate School of Banking from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

Bank Iowa Corporation is a privately owned bank holding company with 24 locations in 21 communities across Iowa.
