The Beaverdale business community has launched the Beaverdale Community Immunity Cards program, an effort to encourage COVID-19 vaccination within the Beaverdale neighborhood. From now through September, anyone who gets their final COVID-19 vaccine shot at one of the participating neighborhood pharmacies will receive a Beaverdale Community Immunity Card. Those cards can be presented at participating businesses to redeem special offers and discounts. The participating pharmacies include Medicap Pharmacy and Price Chopper on Beaver Avenue, and Walgreens on Douglas Avenue in Beaverdale. The participating businesses are: Ace Hardware (Beaver Avenue), Back Country, Backroom Clothing, Beaverdale Bicycles, Beaverdale Books, Beaverdale Confections, Boesen the Florist (Beaver Avenue), Christopher’s, Curbin’ Cuisine, The Dam Pub, Grounds for Celebration (Beaver Avenue), Happy DSM, Motley School Tavern, Snookies Malt Shop, Uptempo Music, and Vinyl Cup Records.
